Overview |
High Efficiency Rzeppa Joint(HERz) is outboard joint mounted on wheel of vehicle, the driving force will be transmitted from inboard joint to the wheel by constant velocity. It is high efficiency constant velocity joint compared to Rzeppa and HARz.

|
Features |
· High efficiency by minimization of torque loss
· Reduction of weight by smaller package (6 balls→ 8 balls)
· Increase of joint angle capacity (Standard : 47°→ HERz : 50°)
· Ball track of composed of multi - curves

Operation Principle |
High Efficiency Rzeppa Joint(HERz) consist of outer race, cage, inner race, balls. Inner race transmit shaft’s driving force to outer race through balls, outer race transmit driving force to the wheel bearing by constant velocity. Cage plays a role in regulating the axial and radial positions of outer race and inner race. Balls transmit the driving force by rolling motion on the ball groove plane and secure operating angle.
