Ignition Coil EGR Valve PT Controller
Overview Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) Valves re-circulate metered amounts of exhaust gas into the engine's intake system to help limit the formation of nitrogen oxides (NOx) emissions.  erae Automotive offers a family of Gasoline and Desel EGR valves based on a proven electronically actuated exhaust gas recirculation valve technology. erae Automotive electronic Exhaust Gas Recirculation Valves are available with single poppet, dual poppet and butterfly valve designs to help meet all ranges of flow requirement for various engines.  They are available with solenoid, torque motor, or direct current (DC) motor actuators to help meet individual customer requirements for force, response, cost and leak.
Features Robust valve design provides carbon resistance, durability
and long life, high quality and engine control module
  controllability.
High opening and closing force actuators minimize impact of
corrosion and help provide high quality, durability and long
  life.
Fast valve opening and closing response time enhances
engine control module controllability and helps lower
emissions as a result of the reduction in exhaust gas lag
  time.
Low internal and external leak designs offer optimized
  system.
Stainless steel valves and components provide robust
performance and resistance to corrosion, high temperatures
  and wear.
Operation
Principle
The valve pintle will be moved by it’s actuator(Solenoid & Motors) to provide exhaust gas flow from the exhaust side to the intake manifold based on the ECU’s PWM command. Integrated sensor provides the pintle position information to the ECU to monitor the valve’s actual position compare to the command. The valve will be opened based on the command and then there will be gas flow because of the pressure difference between the exhaust and the intake side.
